Day 1 Travel along the Ross Highway amongst the ancient and beautiful Eastern Mac Donnell Ranges. Step back in time to the Era of 1887 where we visit the area of Central Australia’s first town, The Goldrush Town of Arltunga. Visit the excellent Arltunga Visitors Centre. Imagine the GHOSTS of Arltunga as you visit Old ruins. Enjoy morning tea after visiting the Old Police Station. Now our 4WD Adventure begins as we head into Ruby Gap, an acknowledged Off Road Destination by 4WD enthusiasts. During our journey into Ruby Gap you will see Flora & Fauna amongst this might well be Wild Donkeys & Horses (Brumbies) and various types of Lizards. We will arrive into Ruby Gap in time to set up our Camp before exploring some of the area or maybe a swim. A Hearty Camp Oven cooked Evening Meal and a chance to reflect in remote surroundings under Outback skies. Sleep in an Aussies Bush Bed - The SWAG.. Day 2 An early breakfast then off to explore more of Ruby Gap and for those that wish Bushwalk into the Spectacular Glen Annie Gorge. Enjoy a picnic Lunch before making our way homeward (Returning at approximately 6.00pm).
