Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive Adelaide

On arrival in Adelaide you will be transferred to your hotel (flights anytime, airfare not included). The afternoon is at leisure. You could visit Adelaide Oval, Haigh's Chocolates, the National Wine Centre of Australia or ride Adelaide's historic tram from Victoria Square in the city to the beachside suburb of Glenelg. You'll find a great beach and wooden jetty and the lively shops, cafés and restaurants of Jetty Road. And if you enjoy alfresco dining, try Rundle Street East for dinner tonight.
Accommodation: Mercure Grosvenor Hotel (standard) or Stamford Plaza (first class), Adelaide, 2 nights.

Day 2: Barossa Valley

Travel through the spectacular Torrens Gorge and later test out the amazing acoustics of the Whispering Wall at the Barossa Reservoir.
Stop for morning tea at a typical German bakery in Lyndoch. Pass the quaint villages of Bethany, Tanunda and Nuriootpa en route to the Barossa Valley, the largest wine-producing region in Australia.
Visit 3 premium wineries and enjoy a Barossa-style lunch in the heart of the Valley. (BL)

Day 3: Kangaroo Island - Seal Bay

Enjoy a scenic coach drive through the Fleurieu Peninsula to Cape Jervis to board the ferry to Kangaroo Island, which was sighted and named by Matthew Flinders in 1802. Walk among the nation's third largest and most accessible colony of Australian Sea-Lions, as these creatures doze in the sun after lengthy fishing forays in the Southern Ocean, at the popular Seal Bay Conservation Park.
Accommodation: Ozone Seafront Hotel (standard and first class), Kangaroo Island. (BL)

Day 4: Kangaroo Island - Flinders Chase National Park

Tour Kelly Hill Caves, a beautiful cave system of caverns and sinkholes. The caves are lit using ground breaking fibre-optic "white light" technology, which allows visitors to see the stunning natural colours. Marvel at the Remarkable Rocks and Admiral's Arch, two of the many amazing land formations within the 33,000-hectare Flinders Chase National Park. Return to Adelaide by ferry and coach arriving late evening.
Accommodation: Mercure Grosvenor Hotel (standard) or Stamford Plaza (first class), Adelaide. (BL)

Day 5: Depart Adelaide

You will be transferred to Adelaide Airport to connect with your onward flight (flights anytime, airfare not included).
