Day 1: Perth to Rottnest Island

Depart Perth and travel to Hillarys   Boat   Harbour to cruise by fast ferry to hisorical Rottnest   Island , once a colonial barracks and prison some 150 years ago. The island is known today for stunning white beaches aqua blue water and interating with Quokkas, a small Australian marsupial. This afternoon enjoy a bike ride around the island stopping at one of the beaches for a swim.

Overnight: Rottnest Lodge, Rottnest   Island .

 

Day 2: Rottnest Island to Perth (B)

Free time today to continue exploring the island. Find a waterfront cafe for lunch (own expense), enjoy a swim or snorkel at the beach or join a reef cruise or fising charter. This afternoon board your fast ferry for your return cruise to Hillarys Boat Harbour followed by a coach back to Perth .
