The award winning Ningaloo Reef Retreat is your portal to the award winning eco camp on the reef in Cape Range National Park.Snorkel off deserted beaches where the beautiful coral reef is just metres from shore. Sea kayak the sheltered lagoons of Ningaloo, or take a romantic walk along your very own beach. At the Ningaloo Reef Retreat you can do as much or as little as you like. Relax at camp with a book or take an energetic hike to the top of Mandu Mandu Gorge. Either way you'll be rewarded with breathtaking scenery, native wildlife and distant horizons.

The Camp:

The camp offers simple functional facilities designed to minimise any human impact on the fragile natural environment. The hub of the camp is the Retreat, with lounge, dining tent, elevated sun deck and a well appointed kitchen where meals are prepared. The views are simply stunning. The only thing between you, the reef and the dazzling sunsets are the kangaroos that come out each evening.

The Retreat also has a small library with interpretive information on the marine life, wildlife, birdlife, Cape Range National Park and Ningaloo Marine Park. There is also a selection of novels that may be exchanged.

Your accommodation is in spacious, airy wilderness tents with beautiful views over Ningaloo Reef. They are well appointed with a comfortable queen size bed, ensuite (composting toilet and solar shower) and hammock to laze on.

You may choose to sleep out under the Southern Cross in a Swag under the Stars. A swag is a canvas covered mattress with pillow and linen. They are made locally by Cane River Station Swags.

Fruit, tea, coffee, juices and filtered water are available 24 hours a day. Food is delivered daily from Exmouth and refrigerated. Guests may bring their own alcohol or soft (fizzy) drinks which are kept cool in a large Esky (coolbox).

Guests are fitted with snorkelling equipment on arrival. Masks, snorkels, fins and wetsuits are provided. Buoyancy aids are also available for people with limited snorkelling experience.
