MV Diversity II is a 20 metre modern aluminium cruising Cat powered by twin Cummins Diesel Engines. She has two diesel 40 KVA generators with more than enough power for all our needs.Cabins consist of twins and doubles, two with en suites and the rest sharing bathrooms facilities. The MV Diversity II has a modern stainless steel galley and solid oregon dining tables. The MV Diversity II also makes her own fresh water via our on-board desalination unit, her cabins are large, airy and have an abundance of light.The MV Diversity II is large enough to find a quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle or spend time in one of our 3 custom built dinghies guided by our professional crew. You will also find an extensive variety of books, games and movies available for your enjoyment. Satellite phone and fax equipment are available for guest use at competitive prices. Day 1Guests on the MV Diversity II have the pleasure of perusing the beautiful pearling town of Broome at their leisure before being collected from their accommodation venue by coach. We can also arrange to have you collected directly from your flight and delivered via the famous Broome Jetty to board our vessel. At approximately 3.30 pm you'll settle back to greet other passengers and meet the MV Diversity II's crew. Once on board you will be shown your accommodation and taken through our safety procedures. Whilst the Skipper takes leave of the Broome Jetty, a welcome drink and trays of Hors' d'oeuvres will be offered on the back deck where guests can enjoy a fantastic view of beautiful Gantheaume Point and the famous Cable Beach. The MV Diversity II makes its way overnight to our first stop at Yampi Sound. Day 2Wake up to the view of Yampi Sound out your cabins window and enjoy your breakfast cooked by the MV Diversity II's culinary guru before hitting the water to fish the rock bars, headlands and creeks Yampi Sound has to offer. Back on board enjoy a bite to eat while the crew shift the MV Diversity II to nearby Crocodile Creek to cool down with a swim before heading up Shark Alley for an afternoon fish. Day 3After an overnight steam into Doubtful Bay, try your luck on the incoming morning tide for Mangrove Jacks, Queen Fish, Finger Mark, Trevally and the elusive Barramundi. Your crew will then take you to the well hidden jewel of Ruby Falls, a safe fresh water swimming pool surrounded by waterfalls and cave like structures for a swim after partaking in a sumptuous midday meal, the crew will take you to the best fishing spots the area has to offer for an afternoon fish. Then it's back on board for the short steam to Sale River. Day 4Look out your cabins window upon waking to a view of the Sale River. After breakfast you can choose to take the opportunity to fish the mouth, rock bars and run offs that this river offers. When the tides allow us to take the MV Diversity II's tenders up the river, you will pass towering sandstone cliffs that lead you to an amazing tropical rain forest with orchards of ferns and fresh water swimming holes. In this amazing part of the Kimberley, the fishing is good and the water is sweet. After lunch try for large Trevally in the fast moving current of the Glenelg River entrance, before steaming to the Three Ways River System for an afternoon and evening spent fishing from the back of the MV Diversity II. Day 5Fish, Fish, Fish! In this river system, you will encounter a wide variety and in an abundance. You will have your choice to fish all of the rock bars, snags and run offs. What more do you need? The Three Ways River System goes on forever and as a fishing experience it is second to none. Late in the evening we will make our way to the impressive backdrop of Raft Point for an early start at Montgomery Reef. Day 6After an early morning steam to Montgomery Reef, you can relax as you fish among the mangrove islands for Trevally. That will give you a workout that you will remember forever. Watch as the tide drops, to experience the wonder of a reef that appears out of the deep blue. Then spend the day fishing the channel and its run offs for "Pelagics". After enjoying a meal and a few drinks with your fellow passengers, your skipper and crew will steam overnight to anchor in Secure Bay. Day 7Secure Bay and the Mighty Walcott both offer a fantastic range of fish and fishing for everyone's favourite, the Barramundi. Also in abundance are Cod, Mangrove Jacks and a huge variety of fighting fish. This is not the morning to sleep in as it is your last day to secure bragging rights before the MV Diversity II departs the area around mid afternoon in order to get you back to Broome in time to catch any connecting flights or accommodation you may have booked.
